Throw them around

No, I didn't mean the kids :o)

Snoozing on the internet, I came across a balloon ball. It's basically a piece of fabric wrapped around a balloon, or actually, a balloon blown up inside a piece of material. This is a cool project to do with all these left over pieces of fabric, to big to throw away, to little to do something decent with them.
Well, it goes like this:

You cut out the pattern (which you can find on www.emmajones.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/cloth-ball-pattern.pdf )

Then you cut out the fabric

Sew the panels together

Sew the bottom part on

Sew the two top parts on, always sew the right sides together, with the top I sew on the piece with the fold first, then the other half.

Turn the right side out, stick your balloon inside, blow it up

And there is your balloon ball.

And another one

Don't ask me why, just ask yourself "why not??" ;o)
