It's not like she needs it as in that breastmilk isn't enough any longer, she's showing signs to want more.
Sticking every thing in her mouth, licking lips when we are eating, grabbing things out of our hands etc..
I gave her a piece of cucumber to start with. Did she go for it!!! When she dropped a piece and I gave her another one, she GRABBED it out of my hands ;o)
As she hasn't got any teeth yet, it wasn't as though she was going to bite off big humps, otherwise I would have started with cooked veggies.
